Font is on the Format menu. It allows you to select another font for the text you have selected or change a font at the insertion point. The fonts that you choose in a bullet chart or tree chart view are independent of font selections in the underlying outline. You may choose fonts from the keyboard or through the Rules window, as described below.
Choosing Fonts from the Keyboard
When you choose a font from the keyboard, you cycle through the list of available fonts one at a time. To choose the previous or next listed font, press cmd-shift-[ or cmd-shift-]. To change the fonts of suboutlines from the selected headline, press Option-cmd-shift-[ or Option-cmd-shift-].
Choosing Fonts Through the Rules Window
You can also change fonts through the Rules window in outline, bullet chart, and tree chart views. Changing fonts in one view does not affect fonts in another view. As with other format rules, you define the scope of the font rule for a range of levels from the selected headline and decide whether to apply it to headlines and/or document windows.
